Information you provide
Contact and Partnerships enquiries collect your name, email address, enquiry type and message so we can respond. We record the submission and privacy agreement wording and time. Enquiries are stored in Lovable Cloud, and a notification containing your enquiry details is sent to hello@bridevibeuk.com. Please do not include sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for your enquiry.
Insider signup collects your email address, signup and consent times, agreed marketing wording and signup source. Marketing consent is separate from enquiry handling and cookie choices. Signup details are stored in Lovable Cloud and sent to our team as a notification. Newsletter campaign delivery is not currently connected.
Why we use information
Our lawful bases are legitimate interests for responding to ordinary enquiries, managing press and partnership correspondence, protecting the website and administering owner access; consent for Insider marketing and optional Analytics; and legal obligation where a specific applicable law requires processing, including responding to statutory privacy-rights requests. Where a partnership enquiry involves steps you request before entering a contract with you personally, those steps may instead rely on the contractual basis. A general enquiry is not treated as a retail contract.
Our legitimate interests are communicating with people who contact us and operating a secure service. These interests must be balanced against your rights; you can object to processing on that basis. The enquiry privacy checkbox records your acknowledgement and agreement to enquiry handling; it does not enrol you in marketing or change the lawful basis for every use. We do not use the quiz to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Browsing and your choices
Google Analytics is optional and loads only after a saved, current opt-in. It measures page visits and affiliate-link clicks, including product identifiers, names, brands and destination links. You can reject analytics or withdraw consent using Cookie settings without losing access to shopping. See our Cookie Policy.
Wishlist product identifiers are saved in your browser so your requested wishlist remains after refresh and return visits in the same browser, without registration. They are not uploaded to a customer account or shared across devices. The bridal style quiz runs in your browser; shared result URLs contain quiz answers and the resulting style profile, so anyone with a shared link can see that result. Local browser markers remember invitation timing and quiz completion. Owner sign-in uses account and session information to protect access to editing. Hosting and security services may process technical information such as IP addresses, request details and error logs to deliver and protect the service.
Service providers and external websites
Lovable provides website hosting, Cloud storage of enquiries and signups, owner access, managed email delivery and technical error reporting. Shopify provides the product catalogue, collections and website content. Google provides optional Analytics and the fonts used on this website. Fonts are requested from Google's Fonts service, which receives the visitor's IP address and request details; Google documents that its Fonts API does not set or log cookies. Notifications are received in our business mailbox, which uses Titan email.
Following a shopping link takes you to an independent retailer or affiliate network. Their privacy and cookie policies apply on their websites; they handle purchases and may process referral information. We do not collect payment details or process retail orders on BrideVibe UK.
Processing locations and international transfers
Our Cloud database infrastructure is identified in the EU Central (Frankfurt, Germany) region; this does not mean that website delivery, support, backups, logs or email processing are all confined to Germany. Google documents international processing, including in the United States. Titan lists US infrastructure providers; the country of a provider is not proof of the location of every mailbox copy. Shopify documents international processing. We do not claim UK-only processing.
Published provider terms describe safeguards for international transfers: Lovable's DPA includes European standard contractual clauses and the UK Addendum; Shopify publishes data-processing terms and binding corporate rules; Google publishes data-processing terms and recognised transfer frameworks; and Titan's DPA refers to standard data-protection clauses. The existence of those documents is not a statement that every mechanism applies to our account or every transfer. You can contact us for available information about relevant safeguards or copies, subject to necessary redactions.
Storage and deletion
Our Google Analytics property is set to retain event data for 2 months and user data for 14 months. Reset on new user activity is enabled, so new activity can restart the user-data retention period for the user identifier. These settings are separate from browser-cookie expiry and do not determine retention of standard aggregated reports.
Our retention rule for enquiries and their notification copies is 12 months after the last contact, subject to legitimate legal retention requirements. We review inactive Insider subscribers after 24 months; this is a review, not automatic expiry of consent. Our routine security-log target is 30 days where technically supported; provider-controlled retention may differ. We keep information longer only where necessary and justified for applicable legal requirements or claims.
The website currently has no automatic deletion schedule for enquiry or subscriber records. These rules require manual administration, including review of subsequent correspondence and deletion of separate notification copies in our business mailbox. Supplier backup and log deletion follow their applicable lifecycles; deleting a live record does not guarantee immediate removal from every backup. Wishlist selections have no automatic expiry; remove items using their hearts or clear this website's browser storage. Browser restrictions, private browsing or storage clearing can prevent persistence or erase saved items.
To withdraw Insider consent, use the unsubscribe page or email us. The website unsubscribe action removes a matching email from this website's subscriber list; it does not delete prior notification emails or manage another newsletter service. Contact us about deletion of other records or retained notification copies.
Your privacy rights
Contact contact@bridevibeuk.com to ask about your information or exercise your rights. Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law provides rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on it, without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity before disclosing personal data. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
