Your cookie choices
Optional Google Analytics is off until you choose Accept or enable analytics in Manage Preferences and save your choice. Reject keeps analytics off. Cookie settings lets you change your choice later. Withdrawing analytics consent disables tracking, clears accessible Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page to unload its script. If your browser cannot save a valid choice, analytics remains off.
Browser storage used by this website
The local-storage record bridevibe-cookie-consent stores your analytics choice and when it was saved. A choice is valid for up to 180 days, after which a new choice is required; the stored record itself may remain until overwritten or cleared.
The local-storage markers bridevibe:exit-invitation:last-shown and bridevibe:quiz:completed control the bridal invitation. The invitation has a 30-day frequency limit and is suppressed after quiz completion. These markers remain until browser storage is cleared; the 30-day limit is not an automatic deletion period.
The local-storage record bridevibe:wishlist:v1 stores only saved product identifiers to provide the wishlist you request by using a heart. It has no automatic expiry and works without optional analytics consent. Remove items using their hearts or clear this website's browser storage. It does not identify an account or share your wishlist across devices. If storage is unavailable, saves may not survive refresh or a return visit.
Owner sign-in uses a browser-local authentication record and, where required for server access, authentication cookies. The local record has no automatic browser-storage expiry; access credentials expire and may refresh while signed in. Signing out removes the active session. Authentication cookie lifetimes can vary with the session and hosting configuration. There is no BrideVibe UK checkout or shopping-cart cookie.
Google Analytics
After your analytics opt-in, Google Analytics may set _ga and ga* cookies to distinguish visits and measure page views and affiliate-link clicks. The website does not override Google's cookie-expiry setting. Google's documented default is two years from the most recent update; browsers may impose shorter limits. In a controlled Chrome check with the current connection, both _ga and _ga_E2172M6N6G expired after 400 days, reflecting Chrome's cap. Cookie expiry may be renewed by later consented activity and is distinct from our 180-day consent-choice validity. Browser settings and the future domain may affect the observed lifetime.
Our Google Analytics property is set to retain event data for 2 months and user data for 14 months. Reset on new user activity is enabled, so new activity can restart the user-data retention period for the user identifier. These settings are separate from browser-cookie expiry and do not determine retention of standard aggregated reports. Our analytics choice does not grant advertising storage, advertising user-data or advertising personalisation consent.
You can refuse or withdraw optional analytics and still use the website. Your browser also lets you inspect and delete cookies and local storage; clearing your saved choice means we will ask again.
Other websites
Retailers and affiliate networks may use their own tracking after you follow an outbound shopping link. Those websites control their own cookies and consent choices. See our Privacy Policy for information about website services and privacy rights.
